There is a lot of humor and mishaps behind the scenes of theatre, and I’m going to tell some stories that have happened to me over the years I’ve been in theatre. I would do an advanced theatre camp for a few summers when I was in high school, where we would do an entire musical in 2 weeks. Yes, that is as crazy as it sounds. During rehearsals, the backing tracks we would practice to would occasionally go “rehearsal tracks” over the actual track. This developed into the joke of the rehearsal tracks soloist, who was listed to be in every scene on the scene breakdown backstage. Of course, no one was actually cast as the rehearsal tracks soloist. It was just an inside joke. Next, I’m going to tell a few stories about my time in Mary Poppins. There was one scene where I had to fly into at the end of a song. I would be brought up into the air off stage a minute or so before I would fly in, so I could be ready to go. During a rehearsal, the cast had to start the song over while I was already up in the air, so I stayed up there, and someone who was below me made the joke, “what are you doing up there Erin? Hanging around?” I was so happy because I had been waiting to make that joke for a while. There was also the time when one of the people who controlled my flying wires got stuck behind a set-piece. I had to fly offstage during a scene, and I went high up into the air, off the other side of the stage. However, one I flew up very quickly, not as high, in the opposite direction. Usually, I try to keep a straight face when something goes wrong on stage and not act like something is wrong. It wasn’t easy to do that when you’re getting pulled up into the air really fast, though, so I ended up looking a bit surprised. These are just a few stories that I thought would be interesting because there are funny things that happen in every theatre production. Mishaps are just a part of live theatre that you have to deal with in the moment and hopefully laugh about them later.

How apple has dominated the phone company

  In the growth of smartphones in 2007  apple made basically the first touch screen held cell phone in which it was different from all of the others that was around. This tech guru Steve jobs knew at the time that he had something special. At this time he was competing with companies that were making flip phones, blackberries or even the slide up phones at the time. This was an outside the box move in which no one was doing at the time or even thought about doing.  Cell phones have come a long way back in the day before that they were carrying like bricks with them and you can tell it was a bad time. This mix of new styles of phones which basically turned the whole industry into touch screens and smartphones. Ryan's Top Ten Albums - In Rainbows - Radiohead

  In Rainbows - Radiohead Released 2007 - Genre: Art Rock, Experimental Rock While the albums I talked about in this blog are not ranked in any particular order, I can confidently say that this is my favorite album. Radiohead has always been one of my favorite bands, my original idea for this blog was to do an entry on each of their nine studio albums. In Rainbows came at a very unique point in the band’s career, as they had already seemingly reinvented the wheel twice, with the release of OK Computer in 1997, and Kid A in 2000, and their few albums since had been highly regarded but never to that same level. In Rainbows was their attempt at reinventing their sound again and doing something groundbreaking, and they delivered.
