Since winning the super bowl in 1985 the Chicago Bears have had great teams and chances to win another one but one time when the team got there in 2006 but lost to Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. This organization has been around as long as the league has been but have only won one super bowl.

The team has been known for all of their fantastic defense of teams and all of the hall of fame players they have had. But this team has never been known for having great offenses; it's always been mediocre. They have had great players that have come and gone, especially the skills of Walter Payton to the likes of Allen Robinson in today's game. The Bears quarterback position has been a scrape by every year in which they are okay but never been elite to stand out. 


During the 16 game league schedule which just changed this year to 17 games the bears are the only franchise to never have a Quarterback throw for more than 4,000 Yards. The team in most recent years have tried to develop Quarterbacks from Jay Cutler to Mitch Trubuski to now even Justin Fields when he is officially given the reins to be the true starter.

Over the last 10 years the Bears are 84-84 in wins and losses which is not a good way to be if you want to be a super bowl team year in year out. They have had 4 different head coaches in that span in which that has a lot to do with players,coaches, and even financial deals. The one thing that can be said is over the last 100 plus years of the team being around they have been owned by the same family the entire time. 


This year's team has high hopes with players looking promising on paper with a few new names to the team and a possible revamped defense along with Matt Nagy who, in his third year as coach, is heralded as an Offensive guru.

  In the growth of smartphones in 2007  apple made basically the first touch screen held cell phone in which it was different from all of the others that was around. This tech guru Steve jobs knew at the time that he had something special. At this time he was competing with companies that were making flip phones, blackberries or even the slide up phones at the time. This was an outside the box move in which no one was doing at the time or even thought about doing.  Cell phones have come a long way back in the day before that they were carrying like bricks with them and you can tell it was a bad time.   In Rainbows - Radiohead Released 2007 - Genre: Art Rock, Experimental Rock While the albums I talked about in this blog are not ranked in any particular order, I can confidently say that this is my favorite album. Radiohead has always been one of my favorite bands, my original idea for this blog was to do an entry on each of their nine studio albums. In Rainbows came at a very unique point in the band’s career, as they had already seemingly reinvented the wheel twice, with the release of OK Computer in 1997, and Kid A in 2000, and their few albums since had been highly regarded but never to that same level.
