Its HARD being a Bears Fan 2
Being from the city of Chicago where you have had a franchise that has seen so many ups and downs has been a super struggle to watch especially this year alone. The team is currently standing 1-2, being lucky to get a win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
The game against the Cleveland Browns was probably the worst offensive performance by a team in a long time. The team gave up 9 sacks to a very great Browns defense line in which Myles Garrett had 4.5 sacks of the 9 by the team . The Bears total offense was less than the record setting field goal made by Justin Tucker which was 66 years long.
This game was Justin fields’ first start, he was set up to fail, he had less than a second to throw the ball which usually takes three seconds for a true offensive play to develop and try to make yards off them. The Bears offensive line was held together with duct tape but that tape definitely broke this past weekend.
There are reports after the loss this past week Matt Nagy has said all three of his Quarterbacks on the roster could start this week VS the 0-3 Detroit lions. This is not just your usual 0-3 team that has been close to winning their three games besides the game to the GreenBay Packers in which they lost 35-17. In their other two contests they lost to a combined score of 10 points between game 1 and 3 which they could have won if one thing went different for them.
The reports are if the bears do lose to this lions team that head coach Matt Nagy will be without a job. The offense has not been playing up to the way that he promised he would have them playing in which he retook over play calling this year. This game has to have coach Nagy on the hot seat after the embarrassing performance against the browns. But from the history books the bears have never fired a head coach during the Season.
