  My sixth horror film of the month is the ‘Child's Play’ remake that was released in 2019, making it the 8th and most recent installment of the franchise. This franchise is the mother of all doll horror, giving birth to all the other movies that use the same point of terror. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of horror movies where a doll comes to life and wreaks havoc. I had previously seen the original ‘Child's Play’ from 1988 and thought it was decent (‘Bride of Chucky’ on the other hand is an underrated horror gem that deserves more attention). I thought I would give the newer version of a classic story a chance since I thought it should be revamped after seeing the original anyway.  ‘Childs Play’ starts with a modern adaption of Chucky, making him like an Amazon Alexa for children called a ‘Buddi Doll’.   Why I love Doing Theatre and Why I Miss It by Erin   I didn’t realize how much I love theatre until I wasn’t doing it anymore. This Isn’t just because of the COVID-19 pandemic ether. My main theatre company started rehearsing in may a few days a week, and then we started something called tech week, which is when we rehearsed every day for two weeks leading up to a weekend of shows. Tech week rehearsals usually went from about 6 pm to 9 pm, and then we had to get out of costumes, get microphones taken off, and get ready to go home. These weeks usually happened at the end of August, when school was starting, so I was also adjusting to a new schedule, which was difficult for me. If I was having a bad day, rehearsal would cheer me up and distract me from the days’ problems for a little while. I would hang out with my friends, sing, dance, laugh and just enjoy what I was doing. Rehearsals were sometimes stressful, as everything in life is, but the good things outweighed the bad. ...

      This week I have a finished piece for you! It was done digitally in Clip Studio Paint. I wanted to try out digital painting and thought this was a great opportunity for it. This piece was  originally for a school project, but I scraped it because I ran out of time.      I am really proud of how it came out,  considering that I've never done digital painting before. The face is my favorite part. Doing the shading of her face was really fun. I also wanted to experiment with backgrounds. My idea for the background was based on a painting I saw on Pinterest of some oranges(?) on a tree. I don't think I did a bad job, just that it is a little plain compared to the girl. In the world of their time will rule everything and does not slow down for no one is where we all as humans tend to struggle. The human species show they struggle to multitask along with being able to sit down and focus on the things at hand. Many people tend to lose track of time especially if their day is not planned out.  The way I have, I tend to look at things in my life in three 8 hours periods where I divided up my time into getting sleep for 8 hours, 8 hours of school/school work, and finally 8 hours of extracurricular activities. This has been a great tool for me in my life which has helped me plan my days out to the exact times I need to do things and get them done. Knowing how to manage your time is a hack in life to help you.  But many people follow different steps to work on time management. I have found some that are good to us which are : Set SMART goals , Set weekly priorities , Time block your schedule , Delegate Tasks , Take regular breaks , Avoid Multitas...

 So, Internet Browsers. Who cares right? Just use Chrome or whatever the default is that came with the computer right? Wrong. Let's start with what really matters to us. I'm going, to be honest, living in a dorm is very different from living in the childhood home that you grew up in. There are so many different elements of living in a dorm that affects everyone in unique ways. It might be the communal showers, the twin bed, or the lack of closet space, but it definitely takes some getting used to. Of course, there are positives that I will cover as well. First, let's talk about the roommate situation. At my college, we choose roommates online through a process that strangely felt like an online dating experience.
